Gil Bobo

Gil Bobo, 47, resides in Olive Branch, MS. with his wife, Tonja and their two sons Hunter and Taylor. He has spent the last 24 years working for the Memphis Shelby County Airport Authority at the Memphis International Airport where he is Airfield Maintenance Manager.

Born and raised in Southwest Arkansas, hunting is a part of his personality. His Father, Kenneth Bobo, a Baptist preacher, taught him a love for the outdoors and how to appreciate what God has given us to manage. At the age of 10 he started squirrel hunting and hasn’t looked back. His species of game expanded quickly to hunting deer, turkey, and duck and he has been blessed with taking some record book bucks and long spurred toms.

As he matured as a sportsman, he fell in love with bow hunting big game and the adrenaline rush of getting inside a big buck’s or a big tom’s personal space. That’s a feeling that words can’t describe, and only bow hunters can imagine what he’s talking about.

His dream is to pass down his passion and desire to his two sons and others, so they too can understand the importance of managing our game and enjoying the friendships of fellow sportsmen around the world. Now, he’s taking the sport to the next level and capturing those moments; good, bad, and sometimes, “OH MY GOSH!”, funny on video so you, the viewer can see what he sees through the lens of a camera.
